Today you will begin working on your excel project.  First you will pick a website you wish to shop at.  Then you will fill your excel spreadsheet with exactly $100 worth of merchandise.  Purchase at least 6 different items.  You should use the total, the minimum and the maximum functions.  Then we will manipulate this data using excel.  Please use this rubric to help you during this project.

7th grade
We are going to start a new lab called How Does Your Heart Rate where you will measure your pulse to see how it changes over time.  Your data will be used in a graph that I will take up for a grade.

8th grade
Today we are starting the Clay Boats Lab.  This lab has you designing the best boat to carry cargo.  We'll start with some research.  You should use your computer to discover some of the best designs for building a boat to hold cargo.  The data you collect will be used to make a graph that will be a grade.
