Comp. Apps
Today I plan on going over how to make a PowerPoint project using Microsoft PowerPoint. You'll be assigned a small project tomorrow so you better pay attention today so I don't have to over it a thousand more times.

Last week we looked at how volume and mass relate. We picked the volume we were going to have of each substance so it went on the bottom (Independent variable) of our graph. The mass of each substance was measured so it went on the side (Dependent variable). Today we are going to look at how the graph actually tells us more about volume and mass than you ever knew. If you look closely the line that connects each substance rises slightly. That rise is the slope and for this graph the slope shows DENSITY. We are going to look more closely at the slope of our graph.
When we are finished we will be discovering a new way to find the volume of a substance. Displacement is when a substance pushes a measurable amount of water out of the way. The amount of water is moves is directly related to the volume of the unknown substance.

Today we are going to make yet another graph. You'll be using dice this time to show how far your car travels in Time to Move it. The graph will be Distance Vs. Time.
