Seventh Grade
I want to examine the Agar Plates today.  Remember the point of this activity is to show you DISEASE causing organisms.  These agar plates aren't dangerous but the organisms on them are very similar to organisms that could make you sick.  For safety, DO NOT REMOVE THE LID.  The lid needs to stay on to keep whatever is growing on the agar plate from getting out.
Once we have examined our agar plates we will watch a brainpop video on the project about bacteria and fungi.  We take the quiz as a class.

Eighth Grade
Today we are going to practice making the paper airplane you researched last week.  We will be gathering data about how fast they travel so be prepared to use a stop watch and a meter stick.
