Seventh Grade pd. 1, 2, 4, 6
Today we are going to be looking at one of the easiest grades in my class. The start up quiz is just a check to make sure you come to class everyday ready to work. I will post a start up on the board and at the beginning of class I want you to write THREE things about it- Start up Date
- Start up Question
- Start up Answer
As long as you actually write those three things everyday then you will get an easy 100% test grade. This goes a long way to getting you an A in my class!
The notebook check is similar because all you need to do is keep the work we do in class. The notebook check is a classwork grade that lets me see how you are progressing. You'll need to keep the work you do in class so I can verify your progress and learning. If you can show me that you have completed the work then you will get an easy 100% that goes a long way to helping you get an A!
Both the start ups and the material I expect to see in the notebook check can be found under a tab at the top of this page. If you're not sure what I expect for your start up quiz or your notebook check you should check the tab at the top of the page so you get an A!
The last thing I will discuss today is the dropbox. If you are absent then you can upload your work to my dropbox for grading. When uploaded, your work goes directly to my home computer and a notification pops up alerting me I have something to grade. This feature is also great for when I offer extra credit.

Comp Apps pd. 8
Today you will be starting your progress toward excellent typing. Typing Club is a great website where you will be working almost daily. We'll need to get you logged in so I can track your progress.
We will also be looking at engrade today. Everyday you should expect to see some sort of discussion question on engrade. I want you to respond to that discussion question. This will be a daily assignment grade and if it is completed will go a long way to ensuring your A in this class.
