Today is one of my favorite labs all year. We are getting ready to take our chemistry test next Wednesday but today we are going to get to see chemistry in ACTION literally. I have found some great demonstrations using chemicals that get really hot, make purple fire, explode, and expand rapidly. I will be showing my students these exciting reactions today.
The start up for today is "draw the pH scale. Label where the acids and bases belong."
