Ecosystem Internet Scavenger Hunt

Okay, for the past few days we've looking at ecosystems and how organisms interact together.  Today we are going to complete an online scavenger hunt to answer a few more questions and to look a bit deeper.  Your assignment is to complete the following questions and then submit your work to my dropbox for a TEST grade.  You can use any resources available to you to answer these questions including your friends, the text book and, obviously, the internet.

1. Identify two examples of Mutualism.
2. Identify two examples of Commensalism.
3. Identify two examples of Parasitism.
4. Describe a real world example of how human population growth is affected by a limiting factor.  (at least three sentences long)
5. Describe a food chain with at least 6 links (members).  Be sure to start with the sun and include a decomposer.
6. Which member of your food chain is a producer?
7. Define the word Herbivore.
8. How many Herbivores are in your food chain?
9. Define the word Omnivore.  
10. How many Omnivores are in your food chain?
11. Find a picture and insert it in your document that shows the water cycle.
12. Describe the water cycle in your own words. (at least 3 sentences long)
13. Find a picture and insert it in your document that shows the carbon cycle.
14. Describe the carbon cycle in your own words. (at least 3 sentences long)
