Bill Nye Optics

We are going to take today to step back and look at light in a different way.  Bill Nye Optics is a great video where my students can see someone else explain lenses and mirrors.  I plan to show the students a hands on demo in small groups as the video is playing.  Hopefully by the days end my students will have a better grasp on light because I want to see everyone do well on my test on Thursday.  It will be hard but if my students study my two crossword puzzles and the foldable then they should be fine.  In addition to the test on Thursday there will be a start up quiz and a notebook check on Friday.  The notebook should include the following items:

1. Bill Nye Waves
2. Waves 40-44
3. Bill Nye Sound
4. Wave Properties 45-48
5. Property of Light 66-72
6. Mirrors and Lenses 73-78, 80-83

The start up for today is "What two objects cause light to diverge?"
