Fossil Footprints
On Friday we began to learn how to make observation. Learning about diseases caused by bacteria and fungi we were able to observe some as they grew in petri-dishes. Today we will make further observations with an activity called fossil footprints. The students will use observable evidence to decide the events that took place to create the evidence. In essence they will be learning about the differences between an observation and an inference.
